Here is our JPH-2 that we purchased from Woodward Crossings in early Summer. Its use this year (2011) will be limited. Our 2012 system will be based on this two row unit and a 3-row custom belly-mounted gang of JP-1s, under an Allis Chalmers G. I'm hoping to blog more about that in the months to come. Follow my Twitter feed as that gets updated more frequently.
2010: A Year in Review12/21/10
Where do I begin!? This year has been an absolutely amazing journey. We built some important infrastructure, conducted our first CSA, sold at the Oakland Farmers' Market in Pittsburgh, had a relatively successful growing season and not least important, Edible Earth Farm purchased additional acreage. Looking back at our year, I try to identify the things that were factors to our success. One of those things definitely turned out to be the Jang JP-3 seeder. It was a great purchase. It ranks up there with the tractor and the mulch layer. Check out some of our results with the Jang JP-3 at the our Flickr site. For more information about the Jang JP-3, contact me at
One roller comes with every Jang Seeder. Additional rollers are sold seperately.
This post explains roller selection and seed spacing using the Jang seeder. It is important to note that this post is still in somewhat of a draft state. I intend to update it as I learn more about the Jang seeder. Please feel free to contact me if you have some information, questions or corrections. You can contact me at:

I'm currently a full-time produce grower. My parents operate Woodward Crossings, a country and farm supply business. I help whereever I can and lately that has been fitting customers with the best Jang Seeder. My wife and I own a small produce farm about 100 miles from the City of
Pittsburgh, named Edible Earth Farm. Our long-term goals include growing our farm and learning more about sustainable living.
